National Association of Attorneys with Disabilities
The National Association of Attorneys with Disabilities, or NAAD, is the national association of attorneys, judges, law professors, law students, and others representing the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors, law students, and others with disabilities in the legal profession so that persons with disabilities of all kinds can achieve success. Its members include solo practitioners, large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, legal service and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government. NAAD will be a leader in addressing civil rights issues confronting persons with disabilities. NAAD will provide a strong voice for increased diversity of the federal and state judiciaries so as to include persons with disabilities on the bench, advocate for equal opportunity in the workplace, advocate for accessibility to places of public accommodation, engage in outreach to the disability community, and also promote the professional development of persons with disabilities in the legal profession. NAAD is a a 501(c)(3) organization.
