D.C. Bar Association Committee Seeks Diverse Candidate Pool

The Nominating Committee of Arts, Entertainment, Media & Sports Law (AEMS) Section of the D.C. Bar Asociation is nominating attorneys for leadership in the section and is reaching out to NAAD in its search:

There are 3 vacancies each with a 3-year term. We want a diverse candidate pool in every sense (e.g., age, race, gender, large firm, small firm, solo practitioners, in-house counsel, etc.). Each candidate must be a member of the DC Bar and of the AEMS section and must express interest before March 4, 2016, which is the committee’s deadline to submit names to the Bar.

I will share their information with my fellow committee members and we will let them know the next steps to take in the process.
