Financial Assistance for Blind Students at Washington Seminar

Posted on Posted in Event

Each year, the National Federation of the Blind holds a seminar in Washington, D.C. during which members attend meetings with their representatives in Congress to discuss issues of importance to blind people. The National Association of Blind Students is offering additional financial assistance (beyond the chapter and state levels) to blind students wishing to attend Washington Seminar. This is a good opportunity to familiarize oneself with the political process in Washington and practice making articulate arguments before policymakers.
